Waiting game

I’m going to look at cars today. In particular I’m going to look at Mazda Astinas. I want one of the hatchback ones, but I have a scary feeling that the new model has all but replaced them. The new model looks ridiculous if you ask me, they have put a backside on it, what was once a hatchback is now a sedan. Yer, that’s clever, well, we’ll see what happens.
I have been waiting for Lysse to call me for ages now, it’s almost 1:00pm and she hasn’t returned my phone call. She is out with her mother, buying things in the after Christmas sales, so I don’t really expect her to call me any time soon. I have been playing HELLFIRE, the Diablo add-on. It’s pretty cool so far, a lot harder than I originally thought. And there are thing to DO, like you don’t just keep going down through the same vaults and caverns. I like it.
Sigh, I’m going out to look at these cars, I have had enough of waiting. When I got to the dealers place, it started to rain, typical. I looked around the yard and couldn’t see any of the models that I was interested in, so I went inside the office (more like a mansion if you ask me) and tried to find a sales person. They had all gone home, I was informed by the last remaining rep, and to further my annoyance, the model that I wanted was definitely no longer in production! DAMN! Well, it looks like it’s going to be second hand after all, no big deal, it will most likely save me a whole heap of money anyway. But it means I can’t (or rather, probably won’t) be able to trade in my old car. I don’t really want to sell it to anyone, because I would feel somewhat guilty that the amount I want for it is too much. But I can rip off a dealer, no worries. Funny that, eh?
Arrived home to no one waiting outside. Lysse was obviously still shopping! Bummed around for a while and played with some Windows Scripting Host files that I found (they are undocumented as far as I can tell) and created a neat little script to install all the desktop shortcuts that we (at work) create one by one. This has definite potential. I think I will work on it a little and then show Atoning (after I have used it a few times already) so he can play with it and (invariably) break it (so then I will get to fix it). heheheh WELL IT’S TRUE ISN’T IT?!
Lysse arrived around the 5:00pm mark and we decided that we wouldn’t go to the movies tonight. Lysse got me to give her a tattoo. It’s not a real one, it’s one of those semi-permanent ones that is more of a stain than ink. I have a tattoo pack that I bought ages ago, to give Lysse and Turtle Girl tattoos, so they could be bad girls <hehehe>, and I still have heaps of the stuff left. Now Lysse has a Cancer star sign on her butt. This is a preliminary test to see if she likes it or not. The tattoo, not her butt. She doesn’t like her butt, but then again, try to find me a women who does!
Videos and lollies. Dinner was pasta, with some red wine that I had in the cellar (the cupboard above my fridge). Then we watched some videos; 12:01 (which was like Ground Hog Day, only no where near as good) and Sumo do, sumo don’t (which I have seen before and is really funny. It has subtitles though, so if you can’t read and watch at the same time, don’t bother).
