Seperate Ways

Woke up early again. This time I got up and watched some Cricket! I must be sick, I never watch cricket, it’s really really boring. Even more boring than watching your hard disk defrag. Lysse woke up about an hour and a half after I did.
We had a talk about what/how we are going to fix the problems we have identified (and the ones we haven’t) and have come to the conclusion that we have no idea how to actually fix the problems. But we would try really hard to figure it out and do it. So, that sounds positive, so that is good.
Went over to Mum’s place to scrape more paint of the fascia! (Hey, I remembered the name of it) I think that’s how you spell it, but who cares if it isn’t. Anyway, I did another four metres or so, till the side of the house. I had all the safety gear on again. Except now I have modified the face mask into a piece of cloth (roughly rectangular) that I use like the old desperadoes from the spaghetti westerns. I also put a nose piece into it, because my goggles kept fogging up when I exhale (I never inhale…). And I tried out the ear muffs. So I look like a real goon when I’m scrubbing away at the paint, but it is much more comfortable than I would have thought. Plus I get to keep my lungs, ears and eyes in (almost) pristine condition.
Watched a few videos - actually, I watched one, The man who knew too little, which was quite good (not brilliant) and partially watched Sirens. I say partially because after a while I couldn’t bring myself to feel all arty farty as naked women were paraded in front of me (Elle MacPhereson and Kate Fisher, to be precise) so I figured it would be wasted on me. Besides, Lysse was watching it and would call me in for any good bits <grin>.
Lysse went to her friend’s place for a party, in the afternoon, and wouldn’t be back until the next day. Seeing as I would be at work, she wouldn’t be able to get into the house, so it would be a good excuse for her to return to her mother’s place (which is where she is MEANT to be living! hehehe) I gave her a lift to the place and dropped the bags off and said good-bye until next time (whenever that is) and returned home to re-examine some scenes from Sirens.
THAT was pretty boring, so I went and played on the computer for a while. Cooked some dinner - cheese and pepper pasta with vegies (was full from grazing all day) - and went to sleep.
