Cool change

Yay, I’m not sick today! I must be cured! Or something really really bad is taking hold of my body and I am delirious from the fever….
One or the other <shrug>. Onto work, the first day in the new air-conditioned office (for me) so it should be all new and exciting!
Lots to do at work today, building systems, installing software and generally meeting the other people in the offices with me. We aren’t in the cubicle area, so I still get to avoid Dilbert trauma, but it’s funny installing systems in them while trying to imagine what it would be like to work in that area all day, every day <giggle>. Office people are nuts.
Got home more or less in one piece. It’s much cooler today, there’s breeze and everything! I think I will treat myself (shhhhhhhh) to take away food for dinner… a solid meal would do me good I think, test the piping so to speak.
Was able to sleep in my bed tonight, ahhhhhhh cold outside and warm under the covers. Perfect. (Then again, some would say it could be slightly more perfect with a young supple warm body under the covers with me… but I am not one to seek out the good and find fault with it [ok, ok, ok. I AM like that. FINE] )
