Work up this morning and promptly threw up whatever the hell it was that crawled into my stomach last night. I think it was the heat. I was so hot, and didn’t get much sleep. Oh well, feel much better now. Perhaps I have morning sickness? I’m starting to get sick of these early mornings!
Ok, today is my day off, I’m going to do nothing today. Air-conditioning! Right, I’ll be right there. Drove up to Hypatia’s place to do some messing around with nothing in particular and suck up as much cool air as possible. I have no conscious!
Argh! Client wants their Internet account to be set up today. I do NOT want to drive out there in this heat, I’ll leave it for a while. (Meanwhile, back at the air-conditioner….) <slacking off, chatting, playing on computers etc>
OOPS! 4:00pm better go do this account set up. Oh stuff it, I’ll do it over the phone, she’s a clever girl. Twenty minutes later, they’re all set up. Thank you very much!
Got home and put MY air-conditioner on <very evil grin> okay, so I had my own one, but they offered!!! Gonna make stir fry something tonight. Sliced up carrots, capsicum and meat (i think it was chicken <shudder>). Cook the meat first, then the carrots, then chuck the noodles, capsicum (and meat back) in and cook for a while. Try not to make a pancake. Put into large dog bowl sized bowl and VIOLA! instant healthy food a la Me.
Watched Millennium for the first time, damn it was funny. Great looking stripper in there as well. Then watched some cartoon called Invasion America, by Steven Spielberg, that was different. Time for sleep.
Middle of night, I moved the bed stuff into the front room and turned the airconditioner on. ZONK!
